standing on his own...given we put him in that position, but he held it for awile.

updated page
so...it's taken me awhile to get this whole blogging thing figured out. I've been wondering how everyone else's blogs are so cute...so today I took the time to figure it out. I may not have it all just the way I like it yet, but at least this is better than before. Let's just say..."it's a work in progress."

sick...AGAIN!
Colds...are horrible...especially on a 7 month old baby! Last night he was running a fever a little over 1o2! Man, he got a cold right around Christmas, and he finally got rid of all the symptoms about 2 weeks ago. Now he gets another one. Right now, Jeff and Graham are sleeping. They're so stinking cute sleeping side by side. (By the way, Jeff was off today.) I swear their breathing is almost synchronized. There is nothing more comforting as a mom to see and hear your sweet boys sleeping peacefully! GET BETTER SOON GRAHAM!

ICE at the Gaylord Texan
We went to ICE on December 30th with Andrew and Monica McKinney (aka. the newlyweds). We were supposed to go on Tuesday...but it was the day it got down below freezing again and the weather men kept saying their would be ice all over the roads. Anyways, we changed it to the next day...which apparently everyone else in the world did too! Our tickets were for 7:30, but we didn't even get up to the will call desk until 8:45. I think we finally got into the exhibit around 9 or 9:15...crazy! Please look at Jeff and Graham...it's hilarious. Jeff had on the baby sling thing to keep Graham nice and toasty. It was the funniest thing though, as we were leaving, we walked by hundreds of people waiting in line trying to get in. They were all pointing at laughing at Jeff...I think it made him feel a little weird...but I loved it!
Christmas 2009
On Christmas Eve, Graham experienced his first real snow. We even got to use his big winter jacket that Nana gave him....which was good because he hadn't gotten cold enough to use it.
We had a great Christmas. It was a little crazy though hosting Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Breakfast at my house! My mom has always hosted Christmas Eve dinner, but since my parents have left Rockwall, it wouldn't work to do it in Tyler. I think this was the 61st (correct me if I'm wrong Aunt Sandy) annual Christmas Breakfast. This was my 3rd year to host it...crazy or not! I've turned it into more of a brunch so that we don't have to get up at 5am to get everything prepared. Besides, it's hard seeing all of those Santa gifts that early when we're blessed to have a baby that sleeps until 8:30 or 9am. My parents and my wonderful husband were life savers with both meals!
I think Graham hit the mother load this year. He got some many wonderful toys...some of which I've put away so that he'll get Christmas again in a few months. I mean he opened them all, but he'll forget that he's even seen them in March or April. On Christmas night, Uncle Andy (Jeff's brother) came for a visit. It's always fun to have guests in town...especially when they're as cool as Unk. Here are a few pictures from the festivities! I love Graham's new little car...he loves it too!!!

Jeff's Graduation from SMU
Okay, so I am a little late on this blog...but Jeffery graduated with a Masters in Business from SMU on December 19th. His concentration is in finance, but he's really hoping to be an entrepreneur one day. It took two years, which looking back on it now was not long at all. But at the time, it seemed like December 19th would never get here. It's been so nice for him to actually pick up hobbies. For now, he's working with his guitar and of course spending a little time with the g-man. Here are a few pictures from the day.
